Sorry this is a little tardy, folks.  I wanted to get this online last week, but there were so many great images from this gorgeous wedding that I had a hard time narrowing it down to a manageable number!

Martin and Abby…where to start?  These two are so incredibly sweet and fun to be around.  Abby was definitely the most tearful bride I’ve ever seen, and also the most bubbly!  When she wasn’t crying, Abby had the hugest grin plastered on her face all day…she was SO excited to marry Martin!  And speaking of Martin…what a hoot!  He kept me on my toes and made me laugh all day long.  And at the end of the night, he tried to convince us to go home and get Landrie and come back and boogie with them.  Had we not had a little one to get to bed we would’ve loved to get down with these fun, kind folks!

Martin’s Dad is Deacon Kuhl, so this was another Cathedral wedding (which, of course, we love since it is our own parish).  The ceremony was beautiful, and there were lots of tears (mainly Abbys!)  The bride and groom hopped on the tour train with the bridal party for their getaway, and after a stop for more photos they arrived at the Civic Center for their reception.  They decorated in my favorite colors (brown, blue, and white) and it was completely stunning and elegant.

Check it out and don’t forget to let us know what you think!  Thank you to Martin and Abby and congrats!

Stephanie: Abby and Martin~ Your photos are as beautiful as your wedding! Congrats!!!

Keith started the day with the guys getting ready (and doing shots of something gross) at the Great Northern, while I began my day photographing the girls at the Cathedral.  It was my first glimpse at Kylee’s giving nature, as she was the first bride I’ve ever seen who spent her time leading up to photos doing her sisters’ makeup instead of fretting over her own!  We witnessed throughout the day how loved this young lady is, and we can see why.

Kyle and Kylee (yes, it’s true…don’tcha think one of them should have to change their name???) had their first glimpse on the steps of the Cathedral, and created lots of beautiful moments, as told in the photographs that preserved them forever.  We went downtown and had lots of fun finding cool spots for photos, and eventually the whole bridal party met up with us at the trolly for some fun photos.

Kyle and Kylee had a beautiful Cathedral ceremony; there were tears and laughs as Kylee’s uncle, who also happens to be Bishop Thomas, gave his homily.  I’ll always remember Kyle as “Kyle Lanky” now (you had to be there!)

We love the images from the day, and hope you will too!  Enjoy the sneak peek into this lovely couple’s perfect day.

Sammy Oxendahl: Home run here guys!!! Love the image of the bride and grooms feet. So cute!

Vicki: Fabulous! Fantastic! Kylee, you looked beautiful; you both looked radiant. Andrea is a superb photographer! Very impressive. Loved it and looking forward to more! Mom

Randy: Andrea, you captured the essence of Kyle and Kylee in their love of life and love for each other! Way to Go!! This sneek peek at their pictures was a lot of fun. Reminded me of all the fun we had at the wedding. Definitely looking forward to seeing all the pics Dad

Courtney (good one): Absolutely perfect! Kylee, I still can't believe you didn't send me the link and I had to get it from the "bad one," but these are great pictures! I only got to know Kyle for a few minutes over the weekend, but I can tell you are both meant for each other, and I think these pictures do just the same. I can't wait to watch this again in fifty years, when you two are old.

Giving back

June 14, 2008

On Saturday, June 28, Andrea Jones is teaming up with Eric Wordal to give back to the community in the best way we know how…by giving away free family portraits!  We are photographing over 30 families who are a part of the wonderful organization Big Brothers Big Sisters.  We are donating a portrait package to each family that might otherwise not have a chance to have professional portraits taken.

If you would like to refer us to another organization we can donate to, please send us an email or leave a comment here and we’ll check into it.

Eric Wordal: You rock girl!!! Looking forward to teaming up with you to do something good for others. I need to post this on my site too :)

Sammy Oxendahl: You do Rock!!!!!!! What an awesome experience you are going to give these famlies!

Elizabeth: My son Trey and I were one of the families that had our pictures taken by you today. What a wonderful experience! I just wanted to say Thank you so much for giving back and doing this for all of us.
