Here’s a sneak of Darcy’s baby, the darling Mr. Eli. Eli is 2 weeks younger than Kinzie and I’m so happy that we get to hang out with him and his mommy as often as we do. We are hoping they grow up to be great pals!

Grandma’s lil’ men

August 9, 2010

These two little dolls were in town visiting Grandma, so she took the opportunity to bring them in for some simplistic black and white portraits. I just love this timeless look. The boys were so shy when they arrived, and by the time they left, a mere hour later, I was getting tackled, hugged, and honored with nice big (and sometimes drooly!) smiles. Thank you, Bridger and Conner, for lighting up my day, and to Grandma, for choosing me to capture these memories for you.

Oh, Olivia…

June 22, 2010

What can I say…each session with Olivia has been a complete joy, since her first week in this world, her 6 months, and now her one year (a little tardy due to her recent illnesses, poor girl!). She never disappoints with her huge, contagious smile and sweetness…not to mention all the Gymboree outfits Grandma buys her :) I just LOVE photographing this cute as a button little dolly! Here’s a few to share from our very successful session last week…

Monica: These are so adorable! It is scary how much she poses for the camera already!

This was our second attempt at this session with little Drew. She was much easier to photograph before she could walk! She’s sorta got ants in her pants and does NOT like to sit still! Good thing she’s so cute! Both of her grandmas came along to be included in a few (and I do mean a few!) portraits, so we had quite the fun zoo going on. What a nice and fun bunch of folks, especially Drew’s mommy, Shannon, who is one of the sweetest people ever. Gotta come up with a plan for our next session to keep Drew in one spot for more than 1.2 seconds!

shannon Isakson: Andrea, wow! Thats all i have to say. How did you get pictures of our wild girl drew? You have been a part of our lives now for 3 years and i cannot believe how much she has grown. We wish you all the best and I have already shown our pictures to families in butte, so maybe you can receive some business in the mining city. Thank you for capturing stilled moments in our life. SHANNON

I was thrilled to have the honor of photographing this precious baby girl on her fourth day of life. I am surrounded by boy babies, so it was so great to see a little pink for a change! She was totally not into letting me pose her my way, so we went with what she liked instead! Isn’t she de-lish? Thank you, Becky, for sharing baby Avery with me for a few hours!

Baby Lynden

May 20, 2010

Baby Lynden was my first official ShutterBee client. I posted these on my Facebook page earlier, but thought I’d get them on the blog for those of you that aren’t on our Facebook yet. Here’s the little cutie pie at about 6 weeks.

I’ve been photographing these two for four years…it’s so much fun to watch them grow! We had a very rambunctious and fun session–silly little boys! Again, these were posted on Facebook earlier when the blog was under reconstuction. Enjoy their adorableness!

Here are some more rambunctious boys! Getting these three together was CRAZY! With my job, I don’t think I’ll ever need to go to the gym, I get enough of a workout with all these kiddos!

Ben and Ellie: Double the Fun!

November 22, 2009

These two had me running my big pregnant buns off, but you’d never know it by looking at their images! I often photograph twins that really don’t seem to like each other (I always find this very curious!) but such is not the case with Ben and Ellie. They actually DO like each other so I was able to capture some images of them showcasing their “twins closeness.” The family portraits were another matter…it’s always much more difficult to get everyone looking at the camera and being happy at the same time than just following the little ones around and letting them create their own moments. I think I may start boycotting moms and dads from future portrait sessions! Enjoy the sneak peek!

Ryan & Tara Werner: OMG! With what you had to work with, you did an amazing job with our twins. Ryan and I are very happy with these pics. WOW!!!

Joey turns 2

November 19, 2009

This is my fourth session with Joey, and my fave to date! It is always wonderful to photograph a little one in his own home. He was comfortable and in his element, and I could just chase him around and let him go where he wanted and capture images of him being completely himself. He gave me so many pure expressions, from huge grins to very serious face to “Lady, why the heck are you still following me around with that thing?” intense face. Love it. Here’s a peek.
