Four Generations

August 24, 2010

We booked a session to photograph a couple named Kim and Matt with their new baby and Kim’s family when they came to Helena for a visit recently. Keith and I arrived and discovered that Keith and Kim’s brother were friends when they were young and hadn’t seen each other in many years. The whole family was just a hoot, everyone was so kind and fun and made us feel so welcome. The two hours flew by, and the little one was a complete trooper through it all. We took lots of different group photos, but my favorites are always the more intimate ones, of course. Thank you to the entire family, we enjoyed our evening with you all! Enjoy your sneak peek–the entire gallery will be online shortly.

Kim Krugman: Andrea, the pictures turned out even better than we had hoped for! It's our first so we take a lot of pictures ourselves, but after seeing our gallery we are so happy we had professional shots done as well. Many thanks!

Here’s a sneak peek of another family I’ve enjoyed photographing for the past four years. It’s truly amazing watching these little people grow up. Their farm is just beautiful (despite those pesky mosquitoes!) and there are tons of great images from the evening. The lambs are so dang cute, I wanted to take them home …with me! Oh, and the kids are pretty adorable, too!

Trista Glazier: This was such a fun shoot. We were almost devoured by mosquitoes and blown away by the wind - but you wouldn't know it from these beautiful photos. Thanks Andrea!

My kind of family…

July 16, 2010

I have been lucky enough to document this adorable family as they have grown over the past four years. They are one of those wonderful families that doesn’t expect me to work miracles (that means, they don’t expect to get a portrait of them all sitting nicely and smiling at the camera at the same time :)) They are also just really really nice people and I seriously enjoy hanging out with them. They are so real and relaxed and fun…and I hope these images show just that.

Baby Olivia

March 26, 2009

You know those little baby dolls that look super real? That’s what baby Olivia reminded me of. Her skin was that perfect olive-colored doll skin, and it was hard to belive that she was a real baby. Monica and John are absolutely smitten, of course! Here are a few of my faves from their two-part session (the first one she was awake the whole time…second time she slept like an angel the entire session).  Congrats on your beautiful baby girl!

ginny: Beautiful job! These turned out to be every bit worth all the effort you put into them. Once again you blow me away with your talent

Since my blog time is limited, I don’t get to post every session.  So here’s a smattering of some recent work. Enjoy!

The McMahon Clan

July 18, 2008

Here are a few from our latest McMahon clan session.  We had some crazy weather and lots of bugs happening at the lake, plus some technical difficulties, but I think we overcame all that and captured some great lifestyle portraits.
